Acer/Maple Leaf Fossil (Repaired)

A large 7.5" x 6.5" Sassafras Hesperia fossil plate with a visible glue repair.

This species flourished during the early Eocene and Ypresian stage, and can now be found in formations across North America including Driftwood Canyon, Allenby Formation, and the McAbee fossil beds.

These fossils where found in early Eocene (56 million to 47.8 million years ago) deposits of northern Washington state, United States.
