Collection: Redondasaurus

Redondasaurus is a genus of phytosaur, crocodile-like reptiles from the Upper Triassic period (around 220 million years ago), well-known from fossils found in New Mexico's Bull Canyon Formation (Quay County), showcasing dominant aquatic predators with nostrils high on their snouts, allowing them to breathe with most of their head submerged, distinct from modern crocodiles.
