Hornby Island Fossils Disclaimer

Hornby Island Fossil Disclaimer

The Hornby Island fossils offered by Stones & Bones originate from an established older private collection that was acquired in the United States. These specimens were already part of that collection prior to their acquisition by Stones & Bones and are being offered based on their existing collection history and provenance.

The specimens are not represented as having been recently collected from Hornby Island or removed from Canada by Stones & Bones. Their history predates our acquisition, and we have no involvement in their original collection.

As with all fossils, laws and regulations can vary depending on the specimen, locality, land ownership, date of collection, and applicable Canadian, provincial, U.S., and international laws. Buyers are responsible for complying with any laws that apply to the possession, purchase, transport, import, export, or resale of fossils in their jurisdiction.

Stones & Bones provides this information in good faith based on the provenance available to us. This statement is not intended to constitute legal advice or a guarantee regarding the legal status of any particular specimen.
