Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received.
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding Canadian holidays.
During sales, holidays, or high-volume periods, processing times may be slightly longer. Customers will be notified of any significant delays. �

These charges are determined by your country's customs authorities and are not included in the purchase price or shipping charges.
Fossil and Mineral Shipping
Many of our specimens are unique and irreplaceable. Every item is carefully wrapped using protective materials to minimize the risk of damage during transit.
Some larger or particularly fragile specimens may require custom packaging, which could slightly increase processing time.
Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
If your order arrives damaged:
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Include photographs of the packaging and damaged item.
We will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue and determine the appropriate solution.
Stones & Bones is not responsible for packages that are marked as delivered by the carrier but are lost or stolen after delivery.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.
If an incorrect address is entered:
Please contact us immediately.
If the order has not shipped, we will gladly update the address.
If the order has already shipped, additional shipping charges may apply if the package is returned and needs to be resent.
Signature Requirements
For high-value specimens, we may require an adult signature upon delivery to protect your purchase.
Shipping Restrictions
Some fossils, minerals, or other specimens may be subject to import restrictions depending on your country's laws. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the purchased items can legally be imported into their country.
