0.8" Mosasaur Tooth

Mosasaurs are a large marine reptile from the Late Cretaceous period (145.5 and 65.5 million years ago). Their first fossilized remains were discovered in a limestone quarry in the Netherlands in 1764. They were powerful swimmers but preferred to live in shallow inland seas, coming to the surface to breathe.
