Sevengill cow shark fossil teeth are distinctive: lower jaw teeth are large, rectangular, and comb-like with multiple short cusps, resembling a saw blade, while upper teeth are smaller, pointed, and jagged for grasping, often with tiny cusplets near the front, making them easily identifiable from other shark fossils. They feature a prominent root, often tan or blue, with the crown showing remarkable color and detail, varying in size and cusp count depending on jaw position.
