Description of Physical Characteristics and Flaking Pattern: This is a small triangular point with a flattened to elliptical to plano convex cross section.  The blade is primarily straight, but may be seen with an excurvate or even less frequently, an incurvate blade.  Many examples have fine serrations on the blade.  The point primarily forms an isosceles triangle (half as wide as the height).  The base is primarily straight to slightly concave and commonly has basal thinning.  Many points are made from flakes with one face flaked and the other side only having pressure flacking along the edges giving the point a uni-facial appearance.
