Spinosaurus was a massive, semi-aquatic theropod dinosaur from North Africa, known for its crocodile-like snout, conical teeth, and a distinctive ~1.65-meter sail on its back. Measuring up to 15–16 meters in length, it was longer than T. rex. It adapted to a fish-eating lifestyle with a paddle-like tail, dense bones, and short hind legs, living in mangrove environments.
