This vertebra preserves exceptionally long, well-defined prezygapophyseal spines, a characteristic feature of anterior tyrannosaurid caudal vertebrae. These delicate projections are rarely found so complete due to their fragile nature. The specimen exhibits excellent three-dimensional preservation with sharp anatomical detail, natural bone texture, and only minor repair, making it a high-quality display and research specimen.

There is some repair, but no restoration or fill.
