This piece is an 8-inch diagnostic frill section from a Centrosaurus skull, specifically originating from the lateral outer margin of the parietal/squamosal frill. It features excellent surface detail, showing the characteristic groove-and-ridge vascular canals that once supplied blood to the living dinosaur's keratinous sheath. The natural scalloped contour along the upper edge clearly preserves the outer border of the frill, distinguishing it from non-diagnostic interior flat fragments and making it a prime display specimen.Â
