0.43" Hexanchus Microdon Lower Tooth (Hornby Island)

Features the characteristic multi-cusped, comb-like crown and is beautifully preserved and displayed on the original host rock. A scarce and highly collectible fossil from one of Canada's remarkable Cretaceous shark localities.

Size: 0.43" long specimen, 1" long with host rock.

Age: Late Cretaceous (Campanian to early Maastrichtian stage), Approximately 72 to 74 million years old
