Protoheptranchias lowei is a particularly interesting and rare fossil shark only found on Hornby Island, British Columbia. It was only formally named in 2019 by Henri Cappetta, K. Morrison and S. Adnet.
There is a fine repair to this fossil, as they extremely fragile from this formation.
